Step 1: Unplug Your Charger and any Accessories

As per Apple, the disinfectant wipes with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol are safe to use without damaging your iPhone. If you can’t buy alcohol wipes, use a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water. Even if you can’t buy the preceding solution, use a simple antibacterial spray and a pristine microfiber cloth to clean your smartphone.

Step 4: Wipe Your Smartphone

Gently rub the disinfectant wipe or antibacterial cloth over your smartphone while ensuring you clean the front, back, and sides of your device.

Step 5: Cleaning Phone Ports

The ports, camera, lenses, and even the tiny hole that lets you access the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) may have dust particles trapped in them. To clean them without hurting your phone, use a cotton swab or a wooden toothpick.

Step 6: Leave Your Smartphone

Here comes the tricky part. Put your phone down on a surface, and don’t touch it until it gets entirely dry. We suggest leaving it at least for 15 minutes on a surface.
